Chemex makes the best cup you've ever had, every time you have it
Why we love Chemex:
- elegant, one-piece, hourglass shaped vessel - so pretty it's in the permanent collection of New York's Corning Museum of Glass, on permanent display at MOMA NY and other fine museums, and on the Top-100-designed-modern-products --- truly a work of art.
made of natural simple components, in the U.S.A. 🇺🇸
top-quality borosilicate glass is accented with a polished wood collar (that makes a handy insulated handle).
- coffee only comes in contact with the scientifically designed filter and non-porous glass -- so it doesn't pick up unwanted flavors or acids
- you can make coffee as strong as you like without bitterness.
You'll see the Chemex difference:
Because of its purity, Chemex® brewed coffee can be covered and stored in the refrigerator for reheating...without losing its flavor!
- flavorful and
- without bitterness or sediment -- every time. Perfect for iced coffee and coffee flavoring for gourmet recipes.
Chemex is Family Owned Since 1980
The Chemex Coffeemaker was invented in 1941 by Dr. Peter Schlumbohm. Made simply from non-porous, borosilicate glass and fastened with a wood collar and tie, it brews coffee without imparting any flavors of its own.
We are a family owned company with our headquarters located in Western Massachusetts. It is here that we manufacture the Chemex Coffeemakers, Chemex bonded filters, Handblown water kettle and Chemex accessories to be distributed worldwide.
Our mission is to provide superior coffee brewing equipment. The iconic Chemex has remained unchanged for 70 years and counting. We take pride in the quality of our product and customer service and look forward to providing both for years to come.
